Nearly 25 years after the release of her very first single, Britney Spears continues to break records. The legendary hit “Baby One More Time” has just crossed the symbolic milestone of one billion streams on Spotify.
In September 1998, the world discovered Britney Spears and her song “Baby One More Time”. With its cult video, the single quickly established itself as a pop Music classic. Produced by Max Martin, the song sold 10 million copies and reached number one on the charts in 21 countries, including the United States, France and the United Kingdom.
This success allowed Britney Spears, then aged 16, to become a global idol, impacting an entire generation. Rolling Stone magazine even voted it “best debut single of all time”, confirming its historical impact.
