What happens to the four heroes in the finale of Skeleton Crew ?
Beware of spoilers if you haven’t seen the last episode yet. In the finale of Skeleton Crewwe find Jod, Fern and her mother Fara facing the mysterious Supervisor, a giant droid. If Jod tried to lighten the atmosphere by asserting that he was both an emissary and a Jedi, the Overseer quickly put him in his place by revealing that the Jedi had been declared traitors to the New Republic. Upset, Jod destroys the Overseer, cutting off all electricity in the city. At the same time, Wim, his father Wendle, Neel and KB realize that they must immediately go to Onyx Cinder to escape the barrier that protects the planet, in order to call on Kh’ymm to fight Gunter’s pirates . The four rush through Al Attin as their enemies actively participate in its destruction. The trouble begins when they discover that the ship can only be freed by electricity. But Wim and his father manage to find Jod, Fern and Fara in the Supervisor’s tower. If Wim tried to destabilize Jod by claiming that the X-Wings and the Jedi army have been called, the latter is far from convinced and informs him that the Jedi have left.
Skeleton Crew : Jod Na Nawood’s past finally revealed
Faced with Wim and Wendle, Jod finally confides in his past. He reveals how he was found by a Jedi when he was just a child living in a hole in the ground. She took him in before being hunted down by Order 66. After revealing a part of his past, Jod finally reveals his plan: he seeks to control the Republic Mint, and not to destroy At Attin . Wim’s father eventually restores power, which allows KB to fly over the planet’s barrier to transmit a message to Kh’ymm, who then promised to send the best pilots from the New Republic. Finally, Fern’s mother, Fara, helped Wendle take down the barrier, allowing the X-Wings to fly and take down the pirates for good. The parents leave with their children, while Jod watches with pain as his pirate ship crashes into the planet. The children then find Neel and discover that KB and SM-33 managed to survive.
