Season 20 of “L’Amour est dans le pré” on M6 is revealed in a first series of portraits.
TELEVISION – The countdown is coming to an end. The first five portraits of the fifteen farmers from season 20 of Love is in the meadow will be revealed from 9:10 p.m. on M6 this Monday, January 13. Twenty years after the first episodes, French viewers will discover a new season of the dating show, still presented by Karine Le Marchand.
Letters to farmers, speed dating, farm stays, meetings with families and romantic stays… The concept always remains the same. “ If any of these bring butterflies to your stomach, grab a piece of paper, a pen, or your keyboard, and write the first chapter of a story that could change your life forever », declares M6. But who are those whose daily lives could be completely changed thanks to the TV program?
The channel will broadcast video portraits of five of them every Monday evening starting January 13. Here are the photos of the 15 candidates from this anniversary season.

- Anthony, 36 years old, Occitanie

Anthony follows in the footsteps of his brother Thierry who participated in season 13 of “L’Amour est dans le pré”.
Anthony is an organic poultry farmer. Marked by the disappearance of his mother and single for seven years, he today aspires to start a family so as not to “ end up alone like an idiot deep in the countryside ».

Antoine participates in the show following the advice of his friends.
Antoine shares his farm and dairy cow breeding with his cousin and spends a lot of time taking care of his disabled brother. He describes himself as “ cool and joker “hopes today to be able to meet a companion” independent and hardworking » to start a family.
- Célia, 30 years old, Occitanie

Celia got into horse breeding out of passion.
Having fallen in love with horses at a young age, Célia now raises around twenty of them. Disappointed by dating apps and her three previous relationships, she is looking for a brave and daring man, being “ convinced that love deserves to brave external glances ».

After having been an accountant then a graphic designer, Géraldine, a rider in her spare time, became an alpaca breeder. Single for five years, this mother of two teenagers has a difficult past but today feels ready to be loved. Above all, she is looking for a gentle man.

Gilles is a cereal grower and milk collection agent. Father of three daughters, he experienced two romantic relationships with a painful end. He said he was ready to do a dance step towards love » by meeting a woman who loves rural life.

Jean-Baptiste traveled around the world for several years.
Jean-Baptiste grew up in a united and loving family. This globetrotter returned to his land to take over the family farm. A cattle breeder, he also manages an educational farm. He hopes to meet a man who shares the same values as him to flourish alongside him.

Son of restaurateurs, Laurent is passionate about cooking.
Laurent is a sheep and suckler cow breeder. For 36 years, he formed a close-knit team with Françoise, his wife and the mother of his two children. She died in 2023, after a long battle with illness. Today he wants to find love again.

Mathieu is passionate about handball.
Since 2016, Mathieu has raised 450 dairy sheep on the family farm. The romantic farmer has never had a love affair but wants to start a family, his “priority” to date. Affected by heart disease at the age of 20, he wants above all to find the one who will share his simple daily life.

Océane practices Breton power games, of which she was champion for three years.
Océane created a market garden with her brother. After having several disappointing romantic relationships, she is looking for a partner on whom she can count, but who will also be able to surprise her.

A cognac producer, Samuel is separated and the father of a 7-year-old little girl. He is looking for a companion with whom he and his daughter can share their daily lives. The only constraint: his suitor must be shorter than him, who measures 1m65.
