The soft crumb, the crunchy crust and the smell of good bread… All the ingredients will come together to awaken the taste buds of M6 viewers from this Monday, January 6 at 6:35 p.m. thanks to the launch of season 12 of The Best Bakery in France. The channel decided not to change a winning team. The previous edition was a great success, attracting up to 1.8 million viewersits best audience for two years, and establishing its best score for three years among the entire public with 12% audience share. Faced with these nice numbers, Bruno Cormerais, Noëmie Honiat and Michel Sarran decided to come back and travel the country to discover dozens of artisanal bakeries and their specialties. A little surprise still awaits the public : sometimes absent for scheduling reasons, Noëmie Honiat will be replaced periodically by Norbert Tarayre. The former juror from seasons 4 to 10 will therefore reunite with his partner Bruno Cormerais for a few shows.
Favorite product, signature bread, jury challenge… The fundamentals of The Best Bakery in France back in season 12
As usual, the competition will take place in several events. In the First Impression category, the jurors will rate the bakeries on the quality of their first product tasted. They will then judge the favorite Product. Each baker will present their flagship product, accompanied by its story. In the Signature Bread test, the bakers will reveal the secrets of making their emblematic bread. Finally, there will remain the Jury Challenge, a surprise event where the bakers will have to enhance a local product, concoct a sweet product with prescribed ingredients or even create a unique bakery product that will go perfectly with a regional savory dish.
