A huge IPTV network dismantled by the American authorities

If you have not had access to your streaming sites to watch sports matches for a few hours, it is because they are no longer available. A vast dismantling operation was launched today by the American authorities following a report from The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), made up of several American giants such as Sony Pictures, Universal, Warner Bros and Walt Disney. According to BFM , more than 138 sites linked to this activity were closed throughout the month of December because they welcomed more than 800,000 annual visitors.

From the TV box to the Telegram platform

The majority of sites were hosted in Vietnam with a majority of users in the United States and Canada but the reach was also international. The pirate sites offered IPTV boxes to plug into the television but also encrypted channels on Telegram which allowed free viewing of meetings and programs available only by subscription via Canal +, Bein Sports, Netflix, Max or even DAZN, the target of criticism for its high prices for broadcasting Ligue 1 McDonald's. This raid echoes that launched at the end of November in Europe against an illegal network hosting 22 million users.
