Twelve months after the comeback of Kelly de Banvillewho had gone from the last to the front rows during the last five hundred meters of the 2024 edition of this Prix d’Enghien (she was narrowly ahead of Condor), the time has come for redemption for Lionheart et Little Orélieour two favorites. The first, starting at less than 2 euros in the Prix de Vincennes (Gr. I), did not let his takers get excited since he was at fault when approaching the first turn. “Lionheart can set the record straightsimply confides Jean-Michel Bazire in his weekly column to Bruno Jolivet. We cannot really explain his fault in the Prix de Vincennes; he probably got a little upset about his mouth.” Éric Raffin, his jockey, has three victories in four associations with this son of Falcao de Laurma (each time on this course) which changes from “PP” to “DP”. It will still logically be the most played.
Doubtful, Mathieu Mottier was also doubtful after the escapade of Little Orélie in the Prix de Vincennes. If, unlike Lionheart in particular, this girl from Feeling Cash has never won on the classic course, the winner of the Saint-Léger des Trotteurs (Gr. I) certainly deserves to be taken again given the ease with which she trotted before making a mistake at the last place.

If he has since reassured himself by placing a good fourth in the Prix de Château-Chinon (Gr. III), harnessed trotting, Looping Day had also galloped in the Prix de Vincennes before performing well behind. It will therefore be a question, for him too, of remaining wise from start to finish.
Note that Lisbon Dry et Lucky Sibey will run completely barefoot for the first time, as Little Orélie Besides.
