Author Luc Dionne had some unpleasant surprises in store for Jean Dumas (Gildor Roy), the central character of his new series. By accepting the mandate of François Dubuc (Jean Petitclerc), Dumas and his employees believed they were facing an extortion case, but it is murder that they now have on their hands. Dubuc is the one who stabbed Marjorie (Léa Girard Nadeau), but will this murder affect Dumas and Intelco? The other big surprise of the finale concerns Delphine Proulx (Catherine-Anne Toupin). Cazal (Laurent Lucas) was happy to inform Dumas of his return. He knew that he would destabilize his enemy in this way, but we understood that this story goes much further… Delphine is in fact in cahoots with Cazal and Stéphanie (Isabel Richer), Jean’s ex, to get her hands on Intelco. It seems that from the start, Stéphanie hoped to come to an agreement with her husband regarding the shares. She didn’t make it, but she has another ace up her sleeve. She and her acolytes hope to achieve their goals by using the secrets of Éric Bonin (Vincent Leclerc) so that he turns against his boss. The trio believes their plan is infallible, but Eric has heard the conversation and will not let it happen, even if Cazal, Stéphanie and Delphine seem to have good arguments to convince him. Who will Eric’s allegiance lie to? What will be the consequences of all this on Jean Dumas?
DES CAS COMPLEXES
The first half of the season showed the types of mandates that can be entrusted to a private security firm like Intelco. “The more the season progresses, the more serious the cases become. We had to go slowly at the beginning so that people became familiar with the work of the investigators. After the holidays, there will be much tougher missions,” reveals Luc Dionne. The winter trailer gave us a good overview and we will see that Intelco could get involved in very delicate and highly politicized issues, even going so far as to influence the outcome of the elections… The small team made up of Jean Dumas, his son Anthony (Jason Roy Léveillée), Sophie Lacoste (Marie-Lyne Joncas) and Éric Bonin form the hard core of Intelco. On their own, they are capable of setting up operations of all kinds. Around them, other employees are involved in the investigations. This is the case of Marc Daniel (David Bélizaire), a spinning specialist who provided valuable information throughout the fall. “An interesting character will also make his debut this winter. Luc Viau (Marc Bélanger) has a collection of badges from all police forces; he can pull one out at any time. Jean Dumas calls on him when he has “problems” to resolve,” mentions the author. Viau, who could be described as a handyman or handyman, has a wide range of expertise. Jean Dumas can count on him to do the dirty work, if there is dirty work, or to unblock situations when the company finds itself in an impasse.
