After 41 days of adventure, Thibault, big winner of the last season of Koh-Lanta, revealed unusual information concerning the weight he lost during his adventure.
The season of “Koh-Lanta: The Cursed Tribe” ended on December 3. After 41 days of adventure, it was finally Thibault who won the competition. The Corsican distinguished himself for his help in the camp. A fishing lover, he fed all the other adventurers for several weeks, without losing his weight in the challenges. Ultimately, Thibault won the very nice sum of 100,000 euros promised to the winner, although he decided not to keep all of it.

A few weeks after his victory, Thibault agreed to return to his adventure to share details of his experience. He notably revealed that he had broken an absolute record on the show, a very surprising detail.
Record broken for Thibault
For 41 days, Thibault did not have enough to eat in the camp, like his comrades. Each year, the adventurers of Koh-Lanta are very weakened since they only eat a few grains of rice per day, accompanied by cassava, sugar cane or fish depending on the candidates’ findings. In some cases, adventurers can lose between 10 and 15 kilos during their adventure.

However, this is not the case for Thibault. Although he suffered from hunger like his comrades and was deprived of food, he announced that he only lost 2 kilos during his adventure.
“Koh-Lanta was not beneficial for me, I only lost 2 kilos! This is an absolute record compared to the progress of my adventure. The last adventurer who held the record and climbed the poles had lost 4 kilos. We don’t really know what this is due to. The doctor thought it was a density thing. This often concerns people who work outside,” Thibault explained to Télé-Loisirs.

Once back home, Thibault gained a lot of weight before returning to sport to get back in shape. This year, he is not the only candidate to have stood out: this is also the case of Cassandre, a candidate who broke a sad record on the show.
