Building on the success of previous folk dance and song competitions, the channel is organizing a new event entitled “The best choir in France”. See this Friday at 9 p.m.
The end-of-year holidays on France Télévisions will be massively celebrated by Cyril Féraud . In addition to the daily games “Family Duels” and “Everyone wants to take their place”, and after a special Christmas number of “100% logic” on Saturday December 21, the host will be at the helm of a new round of “The Floor” with many new features. But before that, the very young 39-year-old father continues his tour of the regions.
Building on the success of previous folk dance and song competitions (2.2 million viewers for the first and 1.7 million for the second), France 3 chose to elect the best choir in France. “A way of highlighting the richness of our regions but also the diversity of all the choirs of France, all the people who do choir”underlines Cyril Féraud.

“Tears flowed”
The host once again went to the Royal Palace of Kirrwiller in Alsace. On the stage of the second largest cabaret in France, ten choirs will perform one after the other. Rock, disco, gospel, lyrical, a cappella, varieties… Almost all worlds will be represented by men, women, children, students, seniors from Brittany, Occitanie, New Aquitaine, Île-de-France, Normandy, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Pays de la Loire or even Tahiti.
“Sometimes we had the impression of being in The Choirs and tears flowed because it was so beautiful”assures the host. “Christmas carol, Johnny Hallyday, Queen, Rita Mitsouko, film music… We are in a patchwork of everything that variety and singing can represent”he adds.

To decide between them, the channel called on the sports journalist Laurent Luyat, the singer Vincent Niclo, the singer of “Don’t forget the lyrics” Magali Ripoll and the former teacher of the “Star Academy” Adeline Toniutti. “She is an excellent recruit, she was perfect in explaining to us all the work that each performance required and in popularizing the vocal techniques of the singers.
