The good news was announced last June by the American broadcaster, the Paramount+ platform, and filming of the new episodes began in August with all the actors involved in the two previous seasons… and also with Matthew Gray Gubler, aka Spencer Reid, who will therefore make his comeback in the series after leaving it during the finale of season 15.
