One of the successful Max series of recent years is finally ready to make its comeback very soon. The platform revealed the release date and extracts with a nice line-up of actresses and actors.
It’s announcement time for Max. After the boxes of House of the Dragon or The Penguinand many others, Warner’s SVOD service has confirmed the return of one of the best series in the catalog. Season 5 of Harley Quinn arrives on January 16, 2025. An animated series which is very successful, particularly for the tone used which aims the television show above all at adults. But as 2025 approaches, the platform shows that it obviously has something under its belt for its subscribers with a first preview for the return of one of the best series.
This series which is a nugget returns to Max in 2025
Like almost every year, video streaming platforms bring back their flagship series for new seasons. If Harley Quinn has already found its place in the Max 2025 agenda, Warner must still decide on season 3 of Euphoria which will begin filming in mid-January. But behind the scenes, the service has been working on the return of one of its best series: The White Lotus. A fiction which is a satire of the rich and in particular of their holidays.
After dropping off its suitcases in Hawaii and Italy, the Max series takes a direct flight to Asia and Thailand. “The first season focused on money, while the second was on sex. I think the third season could be a kind of satirical and funny look at death, eastern religion and spirituality.” declared Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus.
As with the first two seasons, this Max series intends to shine, among other things, through its casting. For these new episodes, The White Lotus brought together Walton Goggins (The Shield, the Fallout series…), Aimee Lou Wood who was a headliner in the Netflix series Sex Education, Michelle Monaghan (Source Code, Mission Impossible 3), Parker Posey (Scream 3, Beau is Afraid), Sarah Catherine Hook who is currently in the television adaptation of Sex Intentions (Cruel Intentions) on Prime Video and many others. In addition to promising extracts, Max has delivered a release date. Season 3 of The White Lous will be available from February 17, 2025.
