Episode 8 of Dragon Ball DAIMA is now available in France on ADN and Crunchyroll. In the previous episode, Goku and company finally arrived in front of Tamagami number 3, whom Goku will have to defeat to recover the Dragon Ball he possesses. For their part, Vegeta's group arrived in the third Demon Realm thanks to Hybis, and is now on their way to join Goku's group. Like every week, here is our complete summary of the episode.

Episode Title: “TAMAGAMI”
Goku challenged Tamagami number 3. A fierce fight begins, Tamagami 3 fights with his hammer and Goku with his nyoibô. Everyone gathers to watch the fight. The fight is balanced but as Goku begins to have difficulty pushing back the hammer that is crushing him against a rock, he transforms into a Super Saiyan. Once transformed, he repels the hammer without difficulty and even breaks its handle. They then look into each other's eyes and Goku puts his nyoibo away, Panzy does not understand his gesture. It's now a bare-knuckle fight.
What follows is a surge of power from the two, their ki balls destroying everything around. Tamagami 3 even explodes the ground and prepares to send a big shot at Goku, who responds with a Kamehameha. Tamagami 3 struggles to retain the Kamehameha. When he finds himself outmatched, he barely pushes the Kamehameha away and sends it into the air, the latter exploding in the sky. But Goku delivers a powerful blow to the stomach of Tamagami 3 who collapses, and forfeits.
Goku is angry because Tamagami 3 is still able to fight, but there is no point in continuing any longer, Tamagami 3 has perfectly understood his power. A standing ovation followed from the crowd. Goku asks if he can have the Dragon Ball, Tamagami 3 replies that there is one last challenge to complete first. He then puts the Dragon Ball in a giant cup, then makes several appear. Goku has to guess which cup the Dragon Ball is in after he mixes them. He mixes them together at such a speed that no one can keep up.
But Goku seems confident when Tamagami 3 asks him where the Dragon Ball is hidden, the latter replies that it is not in any cup, and that he threw it into the crowd at the last moment. Sure enough, the Dragon Ball was floating in the air above a villager's head. Goku gave the correct answer and has the right to leave with the Dragon Ball. Tamagami 3 repairs his hammer, and returns to his location.
While they are on their way back to the village, Glorio receives a phone call. He picks up discreetly, it’s Arinsu. He tells him that he has obtained the Dragon Ball of the Third Realm. Arinsu hangs up and decides to move on for his “main strategy”. Goku and company leave the village with the Dragon Ball, they pass over Tamagami 3 who tries to imitate Goku's Kamehameha and waves at them. Panzy is once again amazed by Goku and his magic tricks, Goku tells her that in some ways, it's magic.
He then eats skewers that he had taken in the village. Shin asks Glorio what their next destination is, the latter replies that they are going to the second Demon Realm, therefore they are heading to Wap-sama. As a precaution he chooses to take a route between land and sea to avoid being spotted. Panzy says there's no point since the guards' communication device is out of order, but Glorio explains that since Goku obtained the Dragon Ball, it won't take long for the news to spread.
We return to the castle of the first Demon Kingdom, where Degesu and King Gomah again watch the images of the fight against Majin Buu on Earth, when the latter finds himself scattered into small pieces after Vegeta's sacrifice. Just then, Degesu notices something and zooms in. He notices the presence of Arinsu, with a vial, trying to collect a piece of Majin Buu.
We then find ourselves in a house inside a tree. Arinsu, on a sort of flying broom, enters the house. In one room, an old lady named Marba is making something in a cauldron. Thanks to the sample that Arinsu recovered from Majin Buu, the preparation seems to be well underway. Marba takes the cauldron outside to pour the contents into a sort of receptacle. Arinsu asks if it will work this time, because the last Majin that was made was weaker than her. Marba replies that we can't know until it's designed, but since she added a piece of Majin Buu, maybe it should work this time.
Arinsu lui reproche son « maybe “, and doesn't find the person who created Majin Buu a long time ago very confident. Marba says that it wasn't her but Bibidi who made Majin Buu, but Arinsu knows the truth. Bibidi simply asked him to make it, it was impossible for him to create Majin Buu with his own powers. Arinsu reassures Marba and promises to keep it a secret. Marba tells him that she succeeded by chance, and that we can't say that it was a success because even though he was strong, he was uncontrollable and ran away.
Arinsu says she's counting on her because even though she's a genius scholar, she can't make a Majin. Marba replies that she made sure she could have control this time, and asks him for some of his saliva to add to the preparation. Thanks to this, Arinsu will be able to communicate with him without even having to speak.
Marba asks him to reward her well if she succeeds, and Arinsu tells her that there will be no worries when she becomes the new queen of the Great Demon Kingdom. Marba warns that despite appearances, Gomah is powerful, Arinsu replies that it is not a problem because in case of problem she intends to use the Dragon Balls. Marba tells him that it's impossible, but Arinsu explains that she already got her hands on the first Dragon Ball using someone.
We return to the ship where Vegeta and company are. Hybis receives a phone call from King Kadan. He tells him that Goku fought against Tamagami 3, that he won and got his hands on the Dragon Ball. Everyone at the castle celebrates following this news. Kadan explains that they are now heading towards Warp-sama to go to the second Demon Realm, and asks her to join them there. Thanks to the plane they stole from the guard, they should be there in two days, so Hybis and company can go to the hotel for tonight.
Vegeta then asks Hybis if there are also Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm. Hybis replies “ How is that too? Are there some on Earth as well? “, Vegeta asks him in a not very polite manner to explain it to him in detail. Hybis tells him that since he looked down on him when he's not even king, he ignored him… which annoys Vegeta. The latter takes it upon himself to ask again politely this time. End of episode.
Episode 9 of Dragon Ball DAIMA will be titled “ Thieves ”, and will be broadcast on December 6, 2024.

Dragon Ball Daima is a new Dragon Ball animated series produced by TOEI Animation, broadcast since October 11, 2024, and available in France on ADN, Crunchyroll, the MANGAS channel and NETFLIX. The series was first announced at New York Comic Con 2024, with a first trailer released at the event. As with previous Dragon Ball animated projects, Akira Toriyama was very involved, even beyond what he usually did according to Akio Iyoku. The father of Dragon Ball actually worked on the story, the character design, also created the world, the main characters as well as the less important ones, the vehicles, the monsters and more.
