“More beautiful life, even more beautiful” from November 29, 2024 – summary of episode 224

Apolline discovers the open Kepler cabinet. Worried, she tries to call Ulysses, but there is no one to answer. Meanwhile, the Keplers enjoy some family time over breakfast. Vanessa and Ophélie pamper Ulysses, and Ophélie takes the opportunity to apologize to her brother. At the office, the situation deteriorates: Anthony appears and attacks Apolline. He reveals to her that his real target is Vanessa Kepler and demands her help to open a safe. Apolline claims not to know the code, but Anthony doesn't believe her and threatens her with a knife…

Vanessa and Ulysse arrive at the office and discover Apolline tied up, in a state of panic. She explains to them that Anthony stole documents from her safe. Ulysse suggests calling the police, but Vanessa is firmly against it, she wants to talk to them first. Later, Jean-Paul questions Apolline in the office, but she claims not to have recognized her attacker. Suspecting Anthony, he suggests to Vanessa that she take action to have him arrested. Vanessa accompanies Apolline and thanks her for her composure in the face of Boher. Apolline, touched, admits to her that she considers her a model. Later, Ulysses confronts his mother about the lie imposed on Apolline. He asks him what Anthony really stole. Vanessa, on the verge of tears, confides to him that this stolen document is of capital importance and that it could destroy their family.

In prison, Maître Bataille visits Luna, who has just come out of solitary confinement, disoriented. Luna had asked to speak to Alice, but she was not notified. The lawyer finds this strange and promises to clarify it. Luna tells him that recordings of her interviews were deleted and that she doesn't know who is responsible. Dejected, she says she wants to understand what is happening and asks Maître Bataille to explain the situation to her friends. Before returning to the cell, the lawyer talks with a guard, who suggests that he could reveal the sending of a clandestine package intended for Luna.

Afterwards, Maître Bataille confronts Barbara and Jennifer about the package sent to Luna. The lawyer tells them that she is starting to fear for Luna's safety in prison. In the cell, Luna finds Chloé, who appears distant. Chloé blames him for the affair of the package smuggled into the courtyard. Laurine, a fellow inmate, would have been given the mission to ruin Luna's life, and Chloé refuses to be involved in that. Luna understands that she has made an enemy.
