This Wednesday, July 3 at 9:10 p.m. on M6, you will be able to discover The Incredible Traffic Jam 2: Long Live the Bride and Groom ! A year after a successful first part, filmed on a disused road and watched by 2.6 million viewers (13.6% audience share) on July 5, 2023, M6 is back on the road. This new fiction offers several situations between motorists, but this time, there is also a common thread: that of a wedding stuck in traffic. Once again, M6 has pulled out all the stops by lining up a five-star cast: Marie-Anne Chazel, Gérard Jugnot, Chantal Ladesou and many more…

The Incredible Traffic Jam 2 : What is M6’s fiction about?

In The Incredible Traffic Jam 2: Long Live the Bride and Groom!Alex (Julien Pestel) and Vanessa – played by Claire Chust, the bubbly Leslie of Scenes of households – are getting ready to get married. But the road to the ceremony venue is fraught with pitfalls, more precisely a truck has broken down across the road. Alex finds himself stuck in the car with his mother Michelle (Marie-Anne Chazel), Vanessa in another vehicle, with her best friend and a… chippendale in gladiator outfit! You will also find Gérard Jugnot and Élie Semoun in the middle of a neighborhood quarrel, Lola Dubini as a wedding planner whose panic increases by the minute, Pascal Demolon as a priest in his mobile confessional, and Chantal Ladesou as an insufferable mother-in-law.

The Incredible Traffic Jam 2 : Should we watch M6’s fiction?

Like the first part, The Incredible Traffic Jam 2 is therefore built around several short stories, but this time the common thread of marriage connects several of the cars and their occupants. Schoolboy humor, absurd or parodic, there is something for everyone. This fiction is obviously not made to explore characters but rather to propose archetypes and allow the immediate implementation of comic situations. Between the theme of traffic jams and that of preparing a wedding, the fiction ensures in any case to speak to the greatest number. Enough to entertain yourself for an evening, and we really need it!
