Married for 22 years to cinematographer Daniel Moder, Julia Roberts celebrated this anniversary on social media.

A couple that lasts. Actress Julia Roberts, 57, and director of photography Daniel Moder, 55, celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 4. An anniversary that the Hollywood star did not fail to celebrate on her networks.

The singer of “Pretty Woman”, “Erin Brokovitch” and “The Pelican Affair” shared a symbolic photo, showing her exchanging a languorous kiss with her husband, suggesting that time has no hold on their love. A publication that she commented with a sober message “twenty-two years”.

in tune since they met on set

Married for 22 years, the couple met in the early 2000s on the set of “The Mexican,” released in 2001. Julia Roberts played the title role alongside Brad Pitt, and Daniel Moder worked as director of photography. At the time, they were both in a relationship, and thus waited to settle their respective separations before falling into each other’s arms and saying “I do” on July 4, 2002, during an intimate ceremony in New Mexico.

Since then, the duo, who have welcomed three children – twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter born in 2004 and a boy, Henry Daniel born in 2007 – have been living the perfect love affair. And Julia Roberts never fails to point out that her relationship is one of the secrets to her fulfillment.

Asked about the secret to her eternal youth by British Vogue earlier this year, the star said: “Good genes, a fulfilling life, and I’ve said this – and I say it jokingly a lot – but I believe in the love of a good man. I believe my husband loves me and cares for me in a way that makes me deeply happy. And whenever you see someone happy, age doesn’t matter.” Love and happiness certainly suit her so well.
