Aïda Hammerli has not lost her childish soul. As evidenced by this video that she shared this Saturday, November 23, showing “the priceless treasure” that her father built for her when she was younger.
A small wooden chalet with many small windows and terraces, worthy of the most beautiful dolls' houses. This was revealed by Aïda Hammerli, the former participant of Large families: life in XXLon his Instagram account. With this video, she says in the caption that it was her father who made this toy for her 8th birthday. “It is for me a priceless treasure”she declares before specifying: “I spent whole days playing with it when I was little and today it also makes my children happy.”
Aida Hammerli (Large families) determined to make her father's dream come true
If Emile's wife “hope that this chalet will be passed down from generation to generation like a family treasure”it is because this model has great importance in his eyes and those of his father. Indeed, she confides that the latter would have loved to live in a house like this: “I am so proud of this model that he imagined from A to Z and made entirely with his hands. It represents the chalet he would have dreamed of having, with the adjoining stable like the houses of yesteryear, a real family cocoon where he would be happy to live. Determined to make her father's wish come true, she says today it would be “an ultimate dream to one day be able to build this house in his memory” before adding: “My dad was a self-taught man with many talents who had gold in his hands and who loved to tinker. He had great taste and always had an idea in his head that he brought to life brilliantly, like this incredible model.” A beautiful tribute to his dad.
Aïda Hämmerli (Large families) is an outstanding handyman
Like father, like daughter. The former participant of Large families: life in XXL takes after her dad, since she greatly participated in the renovation of his house. While she had lived there for eight years with her partner and their children, they were able to buy it in December 2023, as she announced on her social networks: “On 15/12/2023 we bought the family home in which you grew up and which we had already lived in since 2016. 06/03/2024 we have started the renovation work of our little nest in order to redo it to our taste and allow a layout better suited to our tribe. There is still a lot to do before it is finished but we are moving forward hand in hand to make our dreams come true, to realize our current projects and all those to come.”. Today, the work is completed and she regularly shares videos of her house.
