The Traitors: No mercy for the program, again rejected by M6 this week

Les Traîtres, M6’s flagship show, is once again changing slots in the TV schedule. This umpteenth upheaval reveals the channel’s difficulties in finding a winning formula in the face of fierce competition.

In the ruthless world of television, some shows seem to play hide-and-seek with success. This is the case of Les Traîtres, the flagship program of M6 which, like a secret agent, changes its broadcast slot without warning. This hesitation waltz is enough to perplex loyal viewers, who must now juggle their schedules.

Since its launch, Les Traîtres has indeed experienced its share of twists and turns, both on screen and in its programming. Initially broadcast on Thursdays, the show had found its cruising speed, installing its intrigues and betrayals in the landscape. But now M6 has decided to shake up its habits again. After a week of interruption (Les Traîtres was replaced by the film Red last week), the channel has decided to move the broadcast from Thursday to Friday, starting this Friday, September 13.

The reason for the rescheduling of Traitors has not been communicated by M6. But the increased competition on Thursday evenings, particularly with the broadcast of the second part of the fourth season of HPI on TF1, which attracts an average of 7 million viewers, is undoubtedly the cause. The Thursday streaming releases (season 2 of Rings of Power on Prime, season 4 of Emily in Paris on Netflix) may also turn some viewers away from television…

Season 3 of Les Traîtres will therefore continue on Friday evenings from now on, while only eleven candidates survived the adventures of the game, including Laly, Carla Lazzari, Laurent Ruquier and his partner Hugo Manos. The final episode of Les Traîtres has been scheduled for Friday, September 27. Instead of the game, it is Cauchemar en cuisine, carried by Philippe Etchebest, which will be broadcast on Thursday evenings.
