After two consecutive victories in the junior version of the international song contest, France lost on Saturday in Madrid. With the title To my momGeorgian Andria Putkaradze was declared the winner.
The 22nd edition of the competition Eurovision Junior was held on Saturday evening at the Caja Magica in Madrid. In total, 17 nations competed, including France with the title. Like this, like that performed by Titouan Hervo. This young 14-year-old Breton artist had participated in season 8 of “The Voice Kids”, broadcast in 2022 on TF1, and was eliminated during the battles phase within Julien Doré’s team.
Supported by the votes of the various international juries, the Georgian Andria Putkaradze established himself with his song To my mom. This is the fourth time in the history of the junior version of the competition that Georgia has been declared the winner after Bzikebi in 2008 with Bzzz…Candy in 2011 with Candy music and Mariam Mamadashvili in 2016 with the song titled Mzeo.

After two consecutive titles in 2022 and 2023 (with Oh mom! by Lissandro and Heart and Zoé Clauzure), France bows. In the ranking, Like this, like that finished in third place in the international juries’ votes behind Georgia and Ukraine and in fourth place in the televoting, behind Portugal, Ukraine and Malta. Overall, Titouan finished fourth.
