As a great football fan, Julien Cazarre knows that a return to his training club is not always ideal for a career. In 2019, the ex-Canal+ troublemaker presented his last column in the show “J+1”, before attacking the new heads of the sports department in all directions. A rough exit which would later have served as justification for dismissing one of his accomplices from “Action Discrète”, Sébastien Thoen. In an interview given to journalist Éric Morillot as part of his show broadcast on YouTube “Les incorrectibles”, the comedian returned to his eventful departure, which would be his responsibility. “I left on my own because I no longer got along with the sports management and I told them they were rubbish. It really upset them.” he rewinds. Five years later, there is no going back for the man who now officiates on RMC Sport: “I was on very good terms with most of the people at Canal, I have nothing against this channel but I know I will never work there again.”
“As long as Bolloré is alive, I will never return to Canal+”
His decision is all the more irrevocable as he does not have much esteem for the current boss Vincent Bolloré and Cyril Hanouna, one of the group's star presenters. “As long as he is alive, I will never return to Canal+ so I would have no interest in saying good things about this channel.” he says about the first. As for the gang leader of “Touche pas à mon poste”, with whom relations had deteriorated until the filing of a complaint for harassment, Julien Cazarre affirms “hate what he does”. However, Arcom's decision to suspend the TNT frequency at C8, and therefore to thwart the future of “TPMP”, leaves him doubtful.
Disagree with Arcom's decision
“That raises questions for me. The end does not justify the means. They had the means to suspend his show. But now, it settles scores because they are not on the right side…”, believes the king of parody, not really in line with the policy of the audiovisual policeman. “I don't have much respect for Arcom“, he assures. “I don't like these people. They are convinced that they are some kind of guardians of the temple and I am not in a temple, I do not need guardians.” he concluded.
