Laëtitia Milot will not return to Plus belle la vie: “I don’t see why TF1 would want me”

If some old faces of More beautiful life took over their role to Life is more beautiful, even more beautiful, the new version launched by TF1 last January, this will obviously not be the case for Laëtitia Milot, as she has just recalled in an interview given to Paris here.

Why Laëtitia Milot will not return to PBLV

The actress, who played Mélanie, the waitress at Mistral, between 2004 and 2015 then in 2016 and 2018, has never been called back by the production of the series since her final departure. And not even to make a small appearance in what was to be the grand finale of PBLV on France 3 as she recalled in July 2023 in TV Star : “Regularly, people talk to me about the character of Mélanie that I played. To be honest, I haven’t been asked to go back. “It’s not surprising because I wasn’t contacted for the final episode either.” Laëtitia Milot now no longer has any hope that things will change, as she explained in the last issue of Paris here. “This soap opera remains one of my greatest adventures and I am grateful. But I am no longer in the same state of mind as before. They didn’t want me on France 3, I don’t see why they would like me on TF1”she regretted.

Laëtitia Milot’s new projects

If the actress will not return in PBLV, she is not sure, either, that she will one day make a detour via Tomorrow belongs to us (TF1) as she revealed to us a few months ago: “You should never say never, but if Angélique comes back on screen one day, it will be complicated to put in place. Either she didn’t do what she admitted to having done (a murder, editor’s note); or she is in a psychiatric hospital, or she is in prison… I love this character, evil but yet very endearing.” Laëtitia Milot’s next challenge will take place on M6. For the first time, she will indeed host a show, and not just any show since she took the reins of the Best Pastry Chef. “I told myself I was going to take this on as a new role. I didn’t say yes right away. I gave myself a little time to think before giving my agreement (…) I don’t arrive with my hands in my pockets. There was a lot of work upstream with the production”she told us last April.
