Almost 33 years old, Julian Alaphilippe has not yet decided to end his career. Tired of his downgrade within Soudal Quick-Step, the former double world champion therefore decided to change teams. He will play for the Tudor Pro team in 2025, thus discovering for the very first time since the start of his professional career a team other than Soudal.

The year 2025 will be that of change for Julian Alaphilippe. After two years of struggle, the Frenchman regained color in 2024 but tensions with his boss increased. The point of no return was reached when Patrick Lefevere attacked the private domain, reproaching his runner for being too in love with Marion Rousse. Alaphilippe changes team for the first time

After starting his amateur career with l’US Florentaise in 2009, Julian Alaphilippe was committed to the Army in 2011. He then caught the eye of the team Etixx-iHNedToday Soudal Quick-Stepwho offered him his first professional contract in 2013. Since then, Alaphilippe has continued to climb the ranks with the Belgian team. The years have passed and he has always been loyal to the team from its beginnings, until August when he announced he was joining the Tudor Pro Cycling in 2025.
