the essential
This summer in Castanet, the public will be able to participate in outdoor readings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in various places such as the Parc des Fontanelles, the municipal swimming pool and the Petit lieu hybrid.

There’s time all summer long to enjoy outdoor reading on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

An action proposed as part of Partir en livre, a national book festival for young people, this year’s theme being Sports and Games.

It will be possible to take advantage of the beautiful season to read or listen to readings in a deckchair or lying in the grass, in the shade of the trees, at the swimming pool, at the Parc des Fontanelles near the Escambi or even near the small blue chalet The small hybrid place, between the Espace Brel and the Petipas room.

Albums, books, magazines, comics, mangas will be made available to the public.

A librarian or agents from the town hall will be present to welcome the public, present the books to them and also read albums aloud.

This operation is an opportunity to encourage the practice of reading and to reach all audiences (children and adults).

Readers will be able to enjoy this moment of literary relaxation in a summery and friendly setting.

A great initiative to enjoy reading outdoors this summer in Castanet.

Tuesdays June 18, July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, August 20 and 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at Parc des Fontanelles (next to Escambi).
