On June 18, 2024, Christophe will go to the woods to end his days in Un si grand soleil. A death which promises to annihilate Cécile and Achilles.

Cécile (Marie-Gaëlle Cals) and Achille (Matthieu Rodriguez) are preparing to go through a terrible and painful ordeal in Un si grand soleil.
After months of tracking, Christophe (Hubert Benhamdine) will unfortunately kill himself on June 18. It must be said that Montpellier’s most famous serial killer understood that the return of Father Pavan (Marcel Gonzalez) to France would quickly put the police on his trail.
Knowing full well that Cécile could never have forgiven him for such acts and having no desire to end his days in prison, Christophe will therefore prefer to kill himself. This therefore marks the definitive end of the character and his alter ego, The Florist.
If Christophe’s death obviously promises to affect viewers who have followed the character’s adventures for many years, it especially risks annihilating Cécile and Achille.
Cécile announces the unthinkable to Achille
In a new extract available on the france.tv platformCécile waits for Achille to come home to tell him the terrible news.
“I need to talk to you, it’s important“, she tells him uneasily. However, the teenager has no desire to hear what his mother has to say to him and even less if it is nonsense about his father.
However, Cécile leaves him no choice. Very moved, she then tells him that the police have found Christophe. And to continue, “They found his body in the forest. He is dead“.
In shock, Achille collapses in the arms of Cécile who whispers to him in tears, “He was the one who chose. He did this to protect us. He chose to die“.
In their misfortune, Cécile and Achille can however count on the unwavering support of Margot (Clara Botte), Hugo (Bibi Tanga) and Noura (Mariel-Louise Compain).
