The Boys: Your opinion on the episodes ‘Department of Dirty Tricks’, ‘Septics…’ and ‘Red Flag…’ [4×01, 4×02 et 4×03] !

Here we go for season 4 of The Boys and the craziest electoral campaign of the moment (although, that’s debatable)! Three episodes in one go is of course the tradition, but it’s almost too much now that the series is well established and has nothing more to prove. Thus, we always delight in these dialogues with their squeaky humor, this Homelander in the middle of a mid-life crisis, these action scenes, each one more WTF than the last, and these discreet references to Gen V. The introduction of Sister Sage is also welcome, since it brings a little finesse to this testosterone show which sometimes boils down to bulls charging at each other. What if we had to find a negative point? Let’s say that certain soap opera threads don’t mesh well with the overall tapestry: what was the point of this love triangle when the Frenchie/Kimiko dynamic worked so well? Also, the world’s worst enemies keep crossing paths and arguing before quietly returning home… which gives a bit of the impression that nothing will change until the final season has started (#SaintStatusQuo ). In short, what does this start of the season inspire you? To your Vought-Claviers and long live the capybaras!
