And continued: “You can’t work that schedule if you don’t like it, with people you don’t get along with, it’s impossible, you feel it right away (…) It’s still a pain to wake up at 4-4:30 a.m.so if it doesn’t go well with the people you work with, it doesn’t go well at all and it’s very difficult.”

In the rest of the interview, Amandine Bégot spoke about her collaboration with Thomas Sotto. “A duo, it takes or it doesn’t and you can’t cheat, really (…) There, it went very quickly, and it’s true that the morning is now extended from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (… ) We were on the same wavelength, we wanted the same things and it’s true that this extra hour (…) she looks like us. With Thomas, we are both very curious, we work in almost the same way“, she explained. She was then questioned about the accusations that were made against Thomas Sotto after his departure from Telematin. Did he talk about it? “It’s something he talked about and he was genuinely hurt (…) I see someone who wants to, who is really enjoyable to work with and once again, I can’t force myself at 4 a.m., if things went badly, you would hear it!“

This interview was also an opportunity for Amandine Bégot to talk about endometriosis, a disease from which she has suffered for several years. She recounted how she learned of the diagnosis. “At the time, I was at iTélé, I was barely thirty years old and I went to see a surgeon who was supposedly a pundit. He told me: ‘We’ll have to operate. We’re going to put an artificial anus on you with a pocket, it’ll get better and so you’ll never have children,'” she recalled.
