Laurent Ruquier may have a busy career and a fulfilled love life, but he still has a head full of dreams! One of his dearest wishes? Being buried in an unusual place…

Laurent Ruquier may only be 61 years old, but he is already thinking about death. And the host knows exactly where he would like to be buried, as he revealed on the set of Big Heads of RTL, in front of several columnists. But the ideal place of his eternal rest seems to be rather difficult to access…

Laurent Ruquier: this unusual place where he dreams of being buried

While he was on the set of Big HeadsLaurent Ruquier did not hesitate to tease his friend Steevy Boulay about his passion for gardening, since the latter opened his plant store almost a year ago, but also creations, such as decorative objects, at his home in . While the former candidate of Loft Story nicknamed him “my Laurent“, the journalist wondered why his friend called him as if he were his “possession“.  “I don't want to end up in ashes sold in a jar in your store“, then joked the former host of We are not in bed.

It was then that Steevy Boulay revealed the place where Laurent Ruquier would dream of being buried after his death: the San Michele cemetery in Venice, a cemetery island in Venice, located very close to Murano.

But the former loft owner admitted he thought it was a “underwater cemetery“and the burials ended”underwater” ! “It was Laurent who taught us that, we even went by vaporetto past“, he said before the presenter corrected: “My dear Steevy, we are buried in dirt! (…) When you walk in Venice, you don't have fins!

In any case, it is unlikely that the dream of Hugo Manos' companion to rest in this place will come true! “Alas, I'm afraid I'll never be able to get that far because it's very complicated to get authorization.“, he explained. Furthermore, since places are very limited, a concession only lasts 12 years, before the remains are cremated or transferred elsewhere.

I will surely end up in an old cemetery in like when I started“, joked (or not) Laurent Ruquier. He however specified that he would like history enthusiast Franck Ferrand to give his eulogy! A dream perhaps more accessible…
