Surprise during the last episode of Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Tribe. As the adventurers formed pairs, the votes went to Maxim on the council. The apprentice Robinson then dragged his comrade Cassandre, with whom he formed a duo, into his fall. But in reality, they have a chance to re-enter the adventure… With Purepeoplethe 23-year-old author opens up about this false start and takes the opportunity to discuss Gustin's betrayal.
At the council, Gustin couldn't bring himself to vote against you and chose to write Jacques' name… What were your feelings at that moment?
At the council, we asked who voted against Maxim. He didn't raise his hand so I understood that he had voted against Jacques. But he was still aware of the strategy…
At that time, did you know it?
At first, I told myself that he was fooled like me, that he must be really surprised, that he is the only one who did not betray me… I had the impression that he was surprised, really.
Earlier in the adventure, you were touched by the change of heart of Gustin, who voted with the yellows to eliminate Sarah… How did you experience it?
I had a very bad experience with this situation. I knew that Sarah and Gustin didn't get along but I didn't suspect for a second that the arguments would take over the team because it was an important moment in the game where we had to stay together to live peacefully adventure. Suddenly, I felt betrayed too. I wasn't aware of it at all, either. He could have voted against Sarah and warned me, told me: “Okay, I really can't take it anymore…“I was as surprised as everyone and it was complicated.
Gustin's behavior on the red camp annoyed a lot… What do you think?
It's true that, especially on the red camp, he didn't have a lot of energy and he rested a lot. But it is true that among the Reds, we ate very, very little… And after reunification, more of us looked for food and therefore we had more things to eat. So Gustin quickly got back on track, things were going well. Overall, I never criticized him for resting because he was present during the team events. And then, we really didn't have much to eat so I understood. It hurt me more than it irritated me.
