[VIDÉOS] “Get me out of here!”: from one queen to another! See who was crowned the big winner

Clodine Desrochers was not the one who made the most noise or took up the most space Get me out of here!. Always voluntary at camp and courageous during challenges, the experienced host could not hope for a better return to the public eye than by becoming queen of the jungle, which happened on Sunday in the finale of the second season.

Caring, empathetic and always ready to go for it, Clodine was crowned the big winner at the end of a particularly grueling final elimination challenge. She succeeds Andréanne A. Mallette, who triumphed last year.

Clodine Desrochers was crowned queen of the jungle during the grand finale of the second season of “Get Me Out of Here!”, an episode broadcast on TVA on Sunday, May 26. The two other finalists of the season, Rosalie Vaillancourt and Dave Morissette, applaud the experienced host who thus marks quite a return to the screen after years of continuous absence.

The foundation for which we played, À deux pas de la voix, provides school materials and tutoring to young people in the Lanaudière region. She receives the $50,000 grant awarded to the victorious camper’s cause.

The two other finalists, Dave Morissette and Rosalie Vaillancourt, also entertained and moved us during their stay in Panama.

Like the other campers, Clodine Desrochers gave everything and emerged from this extraordinary experience.

The QMI Agency told the fifty-year-old that she is a quiet force. She nodded while qualifying.

“I am a mixture of strength and vulnerability. I get through things, but I often doubt myself. Doubt is a driving force for me,” mentioned the one who watched the final at Rosalie Vaillancourt’s with other campers.

The nine campers of the second season are Rosalie Vaillancourt, Audrey Roger, Dave Morissette, Clodine Desrochers, Patricia Paquin, Philippe Laprise, Alex Perron, Sophie Durocher and Sébastien Toutant. Gildor Roy also came to camp for one episode.

Desired return to TV

Clodine Desrochers admits to dreaming of a return to TV or even radio. She has 13 years of daily morning work under her belt, which is no small feat.

Get me out of here!, it was an opportunity to live an experience out of the ordinary. It was an opportunity to let go, to experience something destabilizing without knowing what is coming. Overcoming fears, living in difficult conditions, I saw it as a gift of life, an opportunity to work on myself. It was more than a return to TV,” underlined Clodine, who is known in particular for her shows Clodine’s seasons And Quite simply Clodine.

Clodine Desrochers overcame her fear of heights by climbing a 30-meter tower at the very beginning of her adventure. This challenge, entitled “Tour à turns”, also put Alex Perron to the test.

Nevertheless, projects are emerging for her, including one which will be announced this Monday, at Sweety saltyat 6:30 p.m. on TVA.

Disconcerting pools

Sunday, during the last elimination challenge of the season, it was quickly between Clodine and Dave that it was decided for the title of queen or king of the jungle, because Rosalie did not go down to the first two pools, out of a total of three, to retrieve images to then place in chronological order. We learned, at the very end of the episode, that Clodine only got one more correct answer than Dave. So it was very close.

“It was painful! After 16-17 days in the jungle, we are all mentally and physically exhausted because of the sleep deprivation, the heat, the mosquitoes. I was really exhausted and it had to end. The ice water pool was extremely difficult. Your brain was grabbing you and I couldn’t see anything. The snake pond, they’re not happy to be there, so I talked to them like I talk to my dogs, a way to calm down. And the third basin, the rotting juice, I was fed up with that! I got sprayed often during the season!”

Give your best

The one who was camp leader fought her phobia of heights from the start by climbing a 30-meter tower with Alex Perron, she faced her fear of tarantulas and she had to eat unappetizing bites with Rosalie.

Clodine also had to eat dishes that were not always very appetizing, a necessary step to “Get me out of here!”.

“I was able to be calm and focused when I needed to control myself. I realized I had more mental strength than I thought. The last challenge also showed me that when it’s time to give my all, I do it.”

The one who kept the camp clean even thought about leaving during a “trough of the wave”, but as she was not eliminated that evening, she decided to go all the way.

“Basically, there is luck and chance in determining who stays and who goes. I made it to the throne, but it could very well have been each of us,” concluded Clodine, who shares her crown with the nine other campers from this other season co-hosted by Alexandre Barrette and Jean-Philippe Dion.
