In this new version of its successful program, six personalities will have six hours to glean points by making anonymous people laugh.
At the end of September, during its conference to present its new products, Prime Video revealed the casting of the new season of “LOL: whoever laughs, gets out!” . Thus, Artus, Camille Chamoux, Jérôme Niel, Fatou Kaba, Cédric Doumbé, Muriel Robin, Vincent Dedienne, Marina Rollman, Alexandre Kominek and Fred Testot will do everything to make people laugh without laughing themselves at the risk of being eliminated. After a special Halloween edition, called “LOL: who screams, comes out!”, Prime Video has, in fact, decided to offer its subscribers a new variation of its successful program. “With the idea of always renewing ourselves and offering different things, we are going to do a new spin-off”Thomas Dubois, director of original productions for Prime Video in France, told us exclusively last February. “This time, the game will be relocated, it will no longer be on stage but in real-life locations. On the occasion of Mipcom Cannes, the platform reveals new information about this version of “LOL”. As announced by Thomas Dubois, in “LOL: IRL”, presented by Philippe Lacheau, six personalities will be taken to a public place somewhere in France (a supermarket, a cinema, an airport or a museum…) and will meet at middle of anonymous people who will not be aware of what is happening. This time, their mission will be to make as many people laugh as possible, whether they are other candidates or anonymous people. Every laugh will be worth a point. At the end of the six-hour game, the two celebrities with the most points will advance to the final. A system of hidden cameras will capture all the actions.
It now remains to know the casting of “LOL: IRL”. The platform should not take long to announce the names of the six personalities who have agreed to take part in this unique game.
