Who can beat Morgane Alvaro? After signing a powerful comeback last Thursday, May 17, attracting more 7.70 million viewers ahead of TF1, i.e. 39.5% of the public aged four and over (4+) and 52.3% of women responsible for purchases under the age of fifty (a historic record for this much-coveted target for advertisers), the first episode of the fourth season of “HPI” offered a spectacular gain in replay.

60% PDA on FRDA-50

According to data collected by Médiamétrie and published by La Une this Friday, May 24, the episode entitled “Recto-verso” was caught by 2 million viewers seven days after its linear broadcast. On D+7, the return of fiction carried by Audrey Fleurot and Mehdi Nebbou therefore brought together 9.70 million viewers, or 43% of the public (4+ points on the entire public compared to its broadcast on television) and 60% on women responsible for purchases under the age of fifty (+8 points). It’s about “best delayed of the year and of the season all channels and all genres combined” specifies TF1.

The “HPI” phenomenon thus contributes to the growth of TF1+, the streaming platform of the audiovisual group which recorded 5.1 million streamers on Friday May 17 (one-day record) and 17.9 million streamers between Monday 13 and Sunday May 19, 2024 (record week).

As an indication, last year, the first episode of season 3, broadcast on Thursday May 11, 2023, attracted 8.38 million viewers on the evening of its broadcast (39.5% of the public aged four and over and 47.2% of women responsible for purchasing aged under 50). Seven days later, this same episode was viewed by 2.05 million additional viewers on the MyTF1 platform. The episode had therefore exceeded the symbolic bar of 10 million viewers.

To date, the historical record for replay of the series is held by the fourth episode of season 1. After its broadcast on TF1, the episode was caught up by 2.41 million French people, representing a consolidated audience of 11.82 million. amateurs (47.9% on 4+ and 55.9% on FRDA-50). This is the best historical gain in replay for a French program.

Yesterday, despite fiercer competition, France 2 broadcast a debate between Jordan Bardella and Gabriel Attal in the context of the European elections, TF1 largely crushed the competition by bringing together 7.30 million viewers between 9:12 p.m. and 10:19 p.m., according to Médiamétrie, or 36 .8% of individuals aged four and over and 49% of women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50).
