TF1 launches its new series this Monday, October 21 from 9:10 p.m. They gave himworn by Didier Bourdon and Mélanie Bernier. The actor spoke to Télé-Loisirs about his first leading role in a series.

This Monday, October 21, TF1 is broadcasting the first two episodes of the new season 1 of Daron. The great pleadings of Maître Vincent Daron are matched only by his bad faith. You will witness it from Monday October 21 on TF1. Lawyer in , this truculent character played by an Unknown – a certain Didier Bourdon – is preparing to go through a serious family crisis following the death of his brother, a partner in his firm. At the age of 65, the actor thus becomes the headliner of a series for the first time. He speaks with enthusiasm and sincerity about this new adventure.

Daron is between Éric Dupond-Moretti and Bernard Tapie“, explains Didier Bourdon

Télé-Loisirs: What attracted you to this series?
Didier Bourdon : As much as Daron can be brilliant in front of a court, he can be helpless in front of his children. In his private life, he is clumsy, overwhelmed, he lies badly. It’s this ambivalence of the character that I liked. Finally, I’ve been offered a role where I can have fun! It goes from comedy to a more dramatic register, including emotion or confrontation with violence too. It’s a great panel to play.

How would you define Vincent Daron?
It is between Éric Dupond-Moretti and Bernard Tapie. The first has this somewhat truculent, brilliant side, always very convinced and passionate. The second is more for bad faith and fraud. Daron has his own ethics as a lawyer. He’s a bit of an adventurer, he’s traveled quite a bit. He has a British side, with his look – he changes his tie all the time – and his taxi.

Have you already met Bernard Tapie?
Yes, I met him three times, including once in the 1980s. He worked for Terraillon. At the time, we started with Les Inconnus, there were four of us and we did a show there. There was noise behind and in the middle of the sketch, he shouted “damn, you’ll shut up, there are artists here!” That sums up the character well! (He laughs.)
