“The yellow votes against me made me immediately angry”

And two for Sébastien ! After re-entering the adventure, the southwest carpenter was eliminated again this Tuesday, May 21 In Koh-Lanta, The immunity hunters on TF1. If he had shone in the tests during his return, it was Meïssa who did a double in the episode with a victory in the comfort and immunity test, thus reducing the brilliant candidate’s chances of escaping the irrevocable sentence. In addition to Julie and Meïssa, two ex-Yellows, Pauline and Amri, voted against him. The heated advice, his reunion with his girlfriend Mélissa during the comfort test, his predictions for the final…. Sébastien confided in Télé-Loisirs.

Sebastian (Koh-Lanta, The Immunity Hunters) speaks about Amri’s vote against him: “He told me stories”

Tele-Leisure : At the time, how did you experience this second elimination?
Sebastian:
This elimination was more difficult than the first, because this time, I had been made promises. The same morning, I was told that no one would vote against me. We got together among the Yellows and said to each other: “It’s incredible, all four of us can make it to orientation, it’s possible.” In the end, I had two Yellow votes against me… I thought that the story we had experienced with the Kadasi counted more than that but belonging to the same tribe was not enough. It made me angry immediately and I felt a lot of disappointment.

Pauline, ex-Kadasi, voted against you twice. Did you have any tensions or disagreements at the camp?
We had no history. On the contrary, throughout the reunification, I held her in high esteem and often encouraged her. We shared a lot during the first 29 days and it only took 48 hours for her to change her mind. She explained to me that she did not want to confront me about the upcoming events. This is not my vision of things, his reaction disappointed me.

Amri also voted against you even though he said the opposite at the very beginning of the episode. Do you think he did it to protect himself as he told the council?
I don’t believe it for a single moment. I told him I wouldn’t vote against him because I was sure he had an immunity collar. He told me stories. Like Pauline, he did not want to confront me about the trials to come. They were afraid and preferred to opt for a strategy of ousting someone stronger with them

You say after your elimination that he is the worst Jafar. What did you mean?
Jafar is a sorcerer who manages to bewitch people with these beautiful words and that’s what happened. He made me believe towards him that I was not in danger. For me, it was a huge blow after hearing those words the previous 48 hours. We wanted to bury the hatchet and I had left the door open to forgiving him, but I needed proof for that.

Sébastien (Koh-Lanta 2024) talks about his emotion when he saw his girlfriend Mélissa: “It felt really good to be able to hold her in my arms”

This episode was also marked by a brief reunion with your girlfriend Mélissa during the comfort test…
I was surprised because it had been several years since Koh Lanta no longer brought in relatives. We didn’t even think about it. And when we saw them arrive, I was happy… I was happy that she shared a little piece of adventure with me. It felt really good to be able to hold her in my arms. and talk a little with her even if it was only a few minutes.

Meïssa has had three victories in a row even though he had not shone in the events until then. How do you explain it?
I gave a lot of myself in the camp from start to finish, like Amri. We watched over the fire at night, we cut and brought wood every day, we went looking for food… These are things that exhausted us. Meïssa was more reserved, so maybe that helped her… We can’t say for sure, but there’s a big part of me that tells me it’s possible. I lost more weight than him by doing fewer adventure days. At some point, I may have paid for my overactivity.

Who do you hope to see win? Koh Lanta ?
For the merit of their great adventure, I would like it to be Léa and Julie who win Koh Lanta. If Pauline or Amri win, it will not have been the result of my choice but I would not wish them to lose. I will say congratulations to them and that’s it!
