You’ve been single for almost a year. What happened?
I stayed with my ex-girlfriend for four years, it’s my longest love story. It was the distance that got the better of our relationship: I worked in Chimay, she in Walloon Brabant. She also didn’t want to start a family.

With age, I have hardened. Besides, to get involved in a show like “L’amour est dans le pré”, you have to have a mind of steel. It’s very hard! You have to be at your best mentally and physically. Filming takes up entire days during which you always have to be careful about what you say at every moment.

Why do you say that?
At the slightest wrong step, people will lynch you on Facebook. So far, I have not been the victim of any criticism, but this is not the case for other farmers this season, like Roger, Stéphanie and Sébastien. It hurts me to see this! I’m not creating a buzz, so much the better!
