A fictional village, populated by 13 cabins

To create an immersive atmosphere, by pitting ten villagers against three formidable werewolves who seek to eliminate them, a mysterious and captivating place was needed. From the first episodes, the 13 candidates take us to their new home, for a few days: a village built from scratch, in the middle of a forest, in which several quests await them.

Each participant has their own little cabin, while common spaces allow them to share meals together. These little wooden houses were designed so that everyone can sleep comfortably, “without jeopardizing the game”as the production explains to Télé-Loisirs. “ The houses were notably sound-insulated. The players slept there at the start of the game, but major bad weather forced us to quickly accommodate them in the hotel, for their well-being.. »

At the center of this small fictional town of Thiercelieux, lies the heart of the game: a campfire, around which the players gather, at nightfall, to banish one of their teammates.

Where was filmed Werewolves on Canal+?

During the first episode, the voice-over of the show, played by videographer Mister V, reveals the filming location of the series: the forest of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, in the department of Seine-et-. However, other names are also mentioned in the credits. The municipalities of Montfort-l’Amaury, as well as Gambais, in 78, are thus mentioned.

“We have this running gag throughout the season”tells Télé-Loisirs about the production. “You will see that each time, we locate the forest in many different places. The idea is that Thiercelieux is everywhere in the world. »
