As is often the case on the TPMP set, the tone rises between the columnists. This Wednesday, October 9, 2024, it was Gilles Verdez who accused Isabelle Morini-Bosc of lying.

Don’t touch my post has long been an essential program on the French audiovisual landscape, and its host, Cyril Hanouna, is the true master of ceremonies. His role goes beyond that of a simple presenter. He is at the same time the facilitator, the catalyst of debates and often the provocateur. Among its emblematic columnists, we find personalities like Gilles Verdez, known for his strong positions, Valérie Bénaïm, more complicit with Hanouna, and Isabelle Morini-Bosc, who brings her journalistic experience and her outspokenness.

“Maybe I’ll hit him.”

Among its emblematic columnists, we find personalities like Gilles Verdez, known for his strong positions, Valérie Bénaïm, the gentlest and complicit with Hanouna, and Isabelle Morini-Bosc, who brings her journalistic experience and her outspokenness. Gilles Verdez, always passionate and sometimes impetuous, then accused Isabelle of lying, implying that she did not really know the reality on the ground. “Already I would like to denounce a lie, it is that of Isabelle Morini-Bosc”before being taken over by Cyril Hanouna, not ready to hear criticism of his columnist. “Maybe I’ll hit him from underneath.”retorted Isabelle Morini-Bosc before her colleague continued. “She dared to say that the metro was hell during the Olympics. But nonsense”he explains, detailing the fluidity of transport during this period. “But I took them.”confirmed the columnist. Confident, Gilles Verdez insisted: “But it’s false, you’re lying. In front of 2 million people, she’s lying”he was indignant. To close the debate, the question was whether Cyril Hanouna had used transport during the event. Her “oui” provoked unanimous laughter from the columnists, but especially from Isabelle Morini-Bosc and Gilles Verdez!

A particularly tense evening

It wasn’t the only clash of the day. Earlier in the show, a new debate brought Cyril Hanouna and Valérie Bénaïm face to face, this time around the sensitive theme of children’s education. During the Baba’s TributeValérie Bénaïm asked a question that quickly made Hanouna uncomfortable: “Are you a buddy dad, Cyril, or a strict dad?” A question to which the host initially responded evasively, before visibly feeling piqued by this intervention. Trying to hide his discomfort with humor, he retorted to Valérie: “But what do you want, Bénaïm?” She then explained that she simply wanted “share life experiences”, an approach that Hanouna did not seem to appreciate, replying with a scathing joke: “You will share it with the Pôle emploi group soon.”
