Carried in particular by Thierry Neuvicthe new series The recruit (our opinion) arrives on TF1 this Monday May 6 with its two episodes from 9:10 p.m. The young actor Ethann Isidore – which you were able to see in particular in Indiana Jones and the Clock of Destiny in 2021 – plays Kevin Lorin. This young 18-year-old orphan, originally from the Paris region, specializes in high-end scams. While he is in the middle of a diamond scam in the Basque Country, he is arrested by the police who had had him in their sights for a while.

In The recruit, the police therefore managed to get their hands on Kevin Lorin, trained in his very young years by the worst crooks. He chooses not to flee and “retire” from his illegal career. Commissioner Emmanuelle Trinquant (Judith El Zein, seen notably in Superchondral) recruits him to carry out an infiltration in the context of a homicide case. An experience which proves to be most pleasant in the eyes of Kevin who decides to become a cop. He therefore joined the police station. And if he can count on the support of the commissioner and the goodwill of his new colleague Sofia (Andréa Lovitch), who he likes, the new recruit will have to deal with captain Vincent Béraud (Thierry Neuvic). Very efficient and a bit rigid, the latter does not take kindly to the arrival of an unpredictable and difficult to control kid with whom he will have to form a partner. The captain will also have to manage the return of old injuries within him.

The recruit : where was the new TF1 series filmed?
Filming of season 1 of the series The recruit, composed of six episodes, was filmed between September and November 2023 in the Basque Country. More precisely, the film crews set up their cameras in Biarritz (Hôtel du Palais, etc.), in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (among others in front of the Grand Hôtel, boulevard Thiers), but also in Landes, in Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse.
