A new episode ofAgatha All Along is available on Disney+ and, in this new release, the witches and the mysterious teenager have passed yet another test. But had you noticed that clues about the upcoming trials were hidden in the series?
The witches faced a new test in episode 4 ofAgatha All Along ! Available on Disney+ since October 3, 2024, this new release could well respond to a fan theory circulating on the Internet. One of the big questions in the series concerns the identity of the mysterious teenager, the character played by Joe Locke. In fact, the young boy is bound by a spell which prevents him from revealing his real name. While some are sure that he is actually Billy Kaplan, the reincarnated son of Wanda Maximoff, others imagine that he is actually Nicholas Scratch, Agatha’s son. The latter also seems very worried about the teenager, nicknamed “Teen” in English, when he emerges injured from the ordeal. Does she also think that he is actually her child? At the very end of the episode, Rio (Aubrey Plaza) tells Agatha (Kathryn Hahn): “This kid is not yours“. This would therefore put an end to this theory and leave the field open for the fans’ first hypothesis. In addition, if this excellent Marvel series, spin-off of WandaVisionmultiplies the mysteries, it nevertheless slips clues into each episode on the kind of ordeals that the witches will face. Agatha All Along : clues about the witches’ upcoming trials have slipped into the sets of the series
In Agatha All alongAgatha and her coven, accompanied by Teen, travel The Witches’ Road. This mythical road is punctuated with magical tests which, if successfully overcome, allow witches to obtain what they lack most. If the protagonists do not know in advance what test they will have to face, they have already managed to pass two of them. But what you may not have known is that there are clues along the way the team is traveling. Showrunner and director Jac Schaeffer revealed that the colors of the leaves lining this legendary road were not chosen at random. “The Witches’ Route was created in the studio. As we had decided to only use real sets, we built everything on huge sets. And as we decided not to shoot outdoors, all our trees – artificial therefore – have a little surrealist side. Production designer John Collins had the idea of lining the road with leaves of different colors to indicate the type of ordeal to come.“, clarified the showrunner.

If we look closely, we notice that the leaves of the trees are not always the same color. In episode 3 ofAgatha All Alongthe leaves on the path are blue and the first test concerns the poison that the heroines drink. To get out of this, they must make a potion which must obtain a coeruleum color (a shade of sky blue) to be effective. After passing this first test, they leave the house and return to the legendary road. We notice that the leaves now have shades of red. During the second test, a fire breaks out and the flames invade the house. After that, the leaves on the path are purple. So what could the third test in relation to this color correspond to, which we will surely discover in next week’s new article?
