The recruit : Should we watch the new TF1 series with Thierry Neuvic broadcast this Monday, May 6? Our opinion !

The main strength of this detective comedy is its duo of main actors. The alchemy, complementarity and energy deployed by Thierry Neuvic And Ethann Isidore are undeniable and allow us to overlook some shortcuts and plot conveniences. Above all, the two actors succeed in building an organic relationship on screen, feeding off the resentments and flaws, the needs and shortcomings of their characters and their shared evolution. Over the course of the 6 episodes, marked by eclectic investigations, several common threads are woven (the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Béraud’s son, the integration of Kevin into his new police universe…), which help to anchor the the viewer’s attention and the intentions of the screenwriters. If The recruit does not revolutionize the genre of police comedy, it embodies it effectively, has that little extra human depth and proves to be frankly entertaining.
