Three men, three very different profiles and three suitors… The finale of season 4 of HPI, which is broadcast this Thursday evening on TF1, will finally reveal the identity of the father of Morgane Alvaro’s baby, played again this season by an Audrey Fleurot more sassy and unpredictable than ever. For several weeks, we have been wondering who Karadec (Mehdi Nebbou), David (Doudou Masta), or Timothée (Jeremy Lewin), is the dad, while the 4th season of HPI has gradually focused on the surprise pregnancy of the ‘heroin.
In the penultimate episode of HPI, broadcast last week, a key sequence around a DNA test led everyone (starting with those mainly concerned) to believe that Timothée was the father of the baby. Registration “TG” on the test indeed indicated to everyone that captain “Timothée Guichard” was the lucky one. But rumors are buzzing around a final twist that would take everyone by surprise. Obviously more affected by the news than he wants to show, Karadec may not have yet said his last word. In any case, this is what some fans are hoping for, who are already imagining a final twist that would make him the real father of the child, no matter through what means.

Several elements give hope to fans. Ahead of this HPI finale, Audrey Fleurot assured Télé-Loisirs that the identity of the father would only be revealed “at the end of the eighth episode of the fourth season”. “This season 4 is going to end with something so huge that we all said to ourselves that after this finale, it would be a shame not to do a fifth season,” Audrey Fleurot also announced in an interview with Télécâble Sat Hebdo a few months ago, announcing at the same time a sequel for 2025. TF1 also assured that the lucky winner will only be designated “in the last moments”. Spoiler alert!
In the last minutes of tonight’s episode, we learn who the baby’s father really is… and why the “TG” inscription misled everyone. The two letters do not refer to Timothée Guichard’s initials, but simply to “genetic test”. The identity of the father revealed by the test could not be clearer : it is indeed aboutAdam Karadec, who had a relationship with Morgane Alvaro one night when he was drugged. Something to delight the main character, who clearly has a crush on the very serious commander.
So will the HPI series end with an Alvaro-Karadec couple in the next season? Faced with this essential question since the launch of the series, Mehdi Nebbou has for his part sowed doubt in the media. “Extremes attract, of course, but life as a couple would already be rock’n’roll […]a long-term family life, it would be apocalyptic in my opinion”, he blurted, still in Télé Loisirs, not imagining for a moment the possibility that it would work between the two characters. “Karadec and Morgane , it is order and anarchy. The two don’t mix well. She’s the august one and I’m the white clown who gets kicked in the behind,” he laughed.
One thing is almost certain in any case: in the last episode of HPI this evening, which will also be the last of the season, we suspect that Morgane Alvaro, exhausted by the debates around the first name or decor of the new one’s room born, will eventually give birth. And to stay true to the spirit of the series, this birth should be hectic, as it should be. And for this scene alone, the fans should be there.
