This Friday, September 27, 2024, a Belgian retirement home organized a striptease for its residents.
It all started with a joke started two months ago by the occupational therapist at the Heiberg retirement home, near Turnhout in Belgium: “How about we have a striptease?” asked Dorien Deboel. An appointment has been made.
“Everyone should be able to have fun”
The rest home, which organizes a birthday party every two months with dance and singing performances, has shaken up its habits somewhat. Just like those of its residents who against all odds, “reacted positively” to the news, report 7sur7.
A stripper and a stripper were therefore hired for a visibly “olé-olé” show this Friday, September 27: “As we have male and female residents, there is a male and female stripper. Everyone should be able to have fun”indicated the director of the establishment.
“The woman was really very flexible”
The residents were delighted, report our colleagues from 7sur7 : “It was incredible, I really enjoyed it. They can come back whenever they want”said Ivona, a resident, after the show.
“The woman was really very flexible. It reminded me of the time when I was dancing myself”she confided.
However, the Heiberg retirement home preferred to avoid full nudes during the show: “We want to maintain a certain elegance”specified director Tina De Maesschalck who wanted to emphasize the quality of life in this care and rest center: “Coming to live here does not mean that life and pleasure suddenly stops”she concluded.
