The Voice (TF1): Zazie totally amazed by a talent: “If I were a record company…”

The adventure The Voice creates special links between coaches and certain talents. This is the case, as we saw this Saturday evening on TF1, for Zazie and sweet Lize. Chosen by the coach to be one of the candidates for the second cross-battle of the evening, Lize deeply touched the singer who even made a magnificent statement to her after her appearance on stage.

Zazie upset by Lize’s performance

To defend her place in this 2024 season of The Voice, Lize chose I Love You of Yseult. The young woman confirmed on stage that she had crazy talent by captivating the coaches, in particular Zazie. “We talked a lot about leaves, branches and the wind and what emotions Lize can make hover above our heads and our hearts. We quickly got to work, it is also anchored in the ground. It is based on something which is fabulous, which is phenomenal work, goldsmith’s work, a passing intelligence. I’m just telling you something. If I were a record label I would sign you immediately. If I were someone who didn’t know who to go see, I would buy my ticket to see you (…) You’re 1.58 m tall but I swear, you have everything you need to be tall.”said an emotional Zazie at the end of the cross-battle.

Mika’s concern

The title performed by Lize deeply worried Mika who was chosen by Zazie as an opponent. “It’s a superb song and that’s a great problem for me (…) She sings very well, she’s charming, she has no shoes, she sings a great song… Lize’s superpower it’s also the fact that she’s super grounded”, he also confided. To face Lize, Mika bet on Mewhy who offered a suspended moment on Jealous Guy John Lennon. “Excellence provokes excellence. What’s delicious about this battle is that there was a whole sense of show, something spectacular without any artifice. Honestly Mewhy, I’m proud to have you in my team. You have incredible musicality and you gave us a delicious performance.e”, rejoiced Mika who was in shock when discovering the public vote. Lize indeed won with 51.7% of the votes, only 7 votes more!
