If you don’t know who Geneviève is, here is her biography from her website:

”Funny, effective and refreshing, Geneviève is much more than an imitator, she is a phenomenon! She takes the audience on a journey and takes them inside her head to help them discover her own world. Endowed with a disarming ease in caricaturing her audience’s favorite stars, she also has seven octaves as well as a larger-than-life vocal power that is quite impressive given her very small size. To date, she imitates nearly three hundred different voices and sounds. Her imitations of noises make her stand out and that’s what makes her unique in the world.

Born in Montreal, raised in , Geneviève has been passionate about voices and noises since birth. Inspired by her idols p’tits Simard, Céline Dion, Dominique Michel, The Looney Toons and several others, it was at the age of four that she went on stage for the first time. From a very young age, she was immediately won over and very inspired by the actor-comedian and sound artist Michael Winslow (Police Academy). So she begins imitating every sound there is, from the creaking of a door, to the bottle of window cleaner, to the sound effects of her favorite Atari video game, Asteroids. Subsequently, it was definitely the group of Quebec comedians Rock et Belles Oreilles as well as the comedian and singer Weird Al Yankovic who gave him the taste of writing his own parodies as well as making his dream a vocation.

While she was a young single parent in her early twenties, it was in 1998 that Geneviève entered the Action Intervention Jeunesse competition alone with her baby at the Salle André-Mathieu in Laval. She literally rouses the crowd and wins the hearts of judges François Massicotte, Maxim Roy, Jean Aroldi and Luc De La Rochelière with her imitation and parody of Céline Dion. She therefore won the title of first prize winner in the humor category as well as practically all the prizes of the evening.

Geneviève was discovered in 2010 on YouTube with her video parodies of Lady Gaga, Lisa Leblanc and Gérald Tremblay. Since then, she has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Mike Ward, Cathy Gauthier, France D’Amour, Marjo, André Sauvé, PA Méthot, Alex Perron as well as several others. She was seen on stage as part of the Just for Laughs festival on productions by Joël Legendre such as La Fureur and Le show 100% Inimitable as well as in the Humor Aveugle galas at the Théâtre Saint-Denis on several occasions. She has also opened for shows by Mario Tessier, Guy Nantel, Éric Lapointe, Messmer and many others in addition to presenting her own show L’Inimitableacross the four corners of Quebec. His show is a must for fans of thrills, dazzlement and laughter.

In 2022, Geneviève distinguished herself as an author with her first book entitled Penses-y 2 fois, a humorous story on the risks linked to cosmetic surgery, preface by Alex Perron.”
