Sunday May 5, the first book and arts fair will take place in Molières. Gisèle Lecornué, president of the Friends of the Media Library, motivated the members of the association to organize this first fair, entitled À livres Ouverts ou Bleus.
This will be the flagship event of the season. This event will take place in the magnificent Pyramid room. 30 writers and artists from the neighborhood and region will meet there for a day to meet readers and art enthusiasts. All styles will be represented.
Gisèle will be able to count on the ten or so volunteers needed for supervision and organization. The cooking workshop will be in the oven and the mill to ensure stewardship!
Entertainment will be offered by the Francas de Tarn-et-Garonne. A dictation will bring spelling enthusiasts together at their school desks for a dictation. This will be awarded… A surprise will reward the winning trio. Writing games will also be available to everyone.
We must thank the municipality of Molières which, by supporting the actions of the Friends of the media library, gives the village a cultural color. We would also like to thank the merchants who, despite these difficult times, were kind enough to help put together this day’s program. Finally, the community of communes of Quercy Caussadais also supported the event by supporting communication.
The show will open its doors to the public at 9 a.m. An aperitif offered by the municipality is planned for 12 p.m. The dictation will be done at 3 p.m., with results announced around 5 p.m. Closing of the show at 6:30 p.m.
