Koh-Lanta loses one of its two Vaudois

There were two Vaudois who participated in “Koh-Lanta” this year: Michel, originally from Belgium who works in Lausanne, and Gustin, from Yverdon. On Tuesday, September 17 on TF1, at the end of episode 5, it was the first who was forced to leave the show and the Philippines.

The 36-year-old adventurer was eliminated at the end of the yellow council. All the boys had voted for Melissa, but she then saved her skin thanks to an immunity necklace.

“I would have liked to go further, but I completely understand. The vote was quite logical in the sense that I was hungry and I think they all felt it. I am the only person responsible,” Michel analyzed, in the heat of the moment.

In the game, the Lausanne native has always been very frank, even revealing alliances. In all honesty. “I didn’t care about strategies,” he admits on the site Puremedias. On the camp, he was also very affected by hunger and will remain as the only candidate in the history of “Koh-Lanta” to have swallowed a praying mantis! Would he have continued if he had not been eliminated? “I would have started eating the candidates!” he jokes.

For Michel, “Koh-Lanta” remains an “incredible human adventure”. “Ilyesse, Thibaut and Fabrice, and even Gustin, who I didn’t see much in the adventure, today, they are really friends, people I always talk to”, he told the French media.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, no fewer than four candidates packed their bags. Michel, of course, but also the “banished” Vanessa and Nathanaël, who did not manage to join the reds and yellows after having failed on the cursed island, and finally Alexandre who chose to leave of his own free will, exhausted.
