What if Jinx was finally alive?

On X (formerly Twitter), theories are multiplying concerning the death of Jinx. Many fans speculate that Vi's sister would not have actually died with Warwick/Vander, deep in the Hexgates. She therefore managed to escape in time, just before her grenade exploded.

Several clues, compiled by IGN, point in this direction. First, during the detonation, a slight trace of Shimmer, characteristic of Jinx's movements, can be seen. This purple line could be a sign that the young woman managed to escape stealthily, as usual.

Then, the conclusion of the series reveals a very mysterious sequence. Caitlyn uses the Kiramman key to consult archives and in particular the plans of the Hexgates. At the same time, she holds a Jinx grenade in her hand, so recognizable thanks to the characters she has drawn on it since her childhood.

In the diagrams she looks through, Caitlyn seems to discover that an air vent could have allowed Vi's sister to escape at the right time, during the final explosion. She then gives a smile, which could imply that Jinx survived the attack. Moreover, it is never explicitly stated that his body was subsequently found, which confirms this hypothesis.

Finally, the very last image ofArcane echoes a deep desire of Jinx: to ride, one day, on an airship, as she already mentioned in the very first episode of the series. What if this flying machine had indeed allowed Vi's sister to leave Piltover, as she had always dreamed of, aboard this famous zeppelin? This would offer a magnificent poetic ending to the most iconic heroine in the universe ofArcaneor even League of Legends whole. We, in any case, love the idea that Jinx is currently flying around the world, looking for new adventures.
