The fire affected one of the Capfun bungalows, located in the municipality of Montblanc, north of Tarragona. It caused the death of an 8-year-old girl. The victim is French. She had come on vacation with her family, with her father and her 13-year-old older sister. The latter two managed to escape in time, but the youngest succumbed to the flames.
