A serious accident involving two cars and a van left three dead and eight injured, including five seriously, Sunday July 30 in the early evening on the A26 at the level of Neuville-Saint-Vaast (Pas-de-Calais), learned France Bleu Nord with the prefecture of the department.
The accident took place around 6:30 p.m. The three people killed are a 40-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman. Five people were seriously injured and three more lightly. Five other people were treated in shock according to the Pas-de-Calais prefecture.
The A26 motorway is closed in both directions to allow emergency services to take care of the victims. Diversions are in place. You must take the Liévin exit in the Calais – Reims direction and the Arras Nord exit in the Reims – Calais direction. The gendarmerie and SANEF teams are also on site.
