DEATH – He was 37 years old. Jean-Baptiste Dessort, who created the YouTube channel “Le Billet Auto”, followed by nearly 60,000 subscribers, died in a road accident this weekend in Gironde.
The facts occurred on the night of Saturday to Sunday, shortly before midnight, on Avenue de la République in Val-de-Virvée, north of Bordeaux. The youtubeur was driving a Tesla Model S Plaid lent by the brand.
According to France 3, the electric vehicle, which would have hit a tree, was totally ablaze even before the arrival of help. Jean-Baptiste Dessort was found near the Tesla, probably ejected at the time of the impact. He was then declared dead by the Samu doctor at the scene of the accident.
800 videos published in ten years on his YouTube channel
Since the opening of his YouTube channel ten years ago, Jean-Baptiste Dessort has published more than 800 videos, including half a dozen on Tesla vehicles.
His latest video, published on June 16 and entitled “From Paris to Bordeaux in Mercedes EQE 300”, had been viewed nearly 20,000 times.
