A fourteenth and final day of mobilization against the pension reform In Lyon (Rhône), the inter-union is organizing a new day of action and demonstration against the law which has since been adopted after the use of 49.3 and partially validated by the Constitutional Council.
The deputies could vote in two days, Thursday, the bill to repeal the reform tabled by the Liot group, but it was largely emptied by the presidential majority.
After many well-attended and sometimes violent demonstrations, the Rhône unions still hope to mobilize massively one month after May 1st. A day that ended in unprecedented violence in the streets of Lyon.

The CGT also calls for demonstrations this Thursday
Maud Millier, deputy secretary general of the CGT du Rhône, estimated Monday on BFM Lyon that “the anger remains intact, both in substance, because this reform is unjust and brutal, but also in form, because since January, there has been a refusal to listen to the anger and the fact that this reform do not pass “. “Power is advancing with all possible artifices”, denounces the trade unionist.
She warns: “it will not be the last day of mobilization, the inter-union calls to gather on June 8 at 12 p.m. in front of the Rhône prefecture to put pressure on the vote in the National Assembly”.
A high-risk journey after an ultra-violent May Day
The course declared to the Rhône prefecture by the unions is considered again at high risk with the possible presence of radical elements at the head of the procession, after an ultra-violent May Day. The demonstration of this June 6 passes partly in the sector which had been ravaged by thugs a month ago.
The prefecture announced a departure, in agreement with the unions, from the Manufacture des Tabacs in the 8th arrondissement for an arrival at Place Bellecour. The Cours Gambetta, the Gabriel Péri sector, the Guillotière bridge and the Antonin Poncet square will be crossed.
A drone will again be used by the police to monitor the procession.
