Interrupted in the 23rd minute by the referee, the match between Bordeaux and Rodez will not resume and the horizon is gloomy for the Girondins, who were playing their rise in Ligue 1. The incident which shook up the evening took place after the opening of the score of Rodez by Lucas Buades, jostled by an individual out of the gallery during the celebration of his goal. Buades remained on the ground for a few minutes before leaving the pitch, and the referee sent both teams back to the locker room.
After a long meeting between the two clubs and the delegates, the decision was taken to definitively interrupt this match, in front of an incredulous public. It was a decisive evening for both teams, since Bordeaux could still go up to Ligue 1 and Rodez down to National.
